Missions
Step Up, Step In, And Get Involved!
No Matter Where You Are In Your Faith Journey – We Want You To Serve With Us!
Getting involved with missions at Lebanon MC is easy! We have many different types of missions which present many different options in terms of how you might serve. Some people like hands on projects, others enjoy interacting with others, while others prefer to cook or sew. Everyone can find their niche to serve in LebMissions.
“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.”
Matthew 20:26-27

Here Are Some Ways You Can Get Involved With LebMissions

ACES (Ashland Christian Emergency Services) is a non-profit organization supported by schools, community groups, and churches. Lebanon proudly supports them as well. ACES seeks to serve and address the unmet needs of the less fortunate in the Ashland community. Our members serve this mission by making donations each week in our donation bins located in the church narthex.
Sample Items Needed:
- Non-perishable foods (canned and dry goods)
- Household items (such as pots, pans, linens, etc.)
- Gently used clothing

Moments of Hope (Mo Hope)
Moments of Hope operates a homeless outreach and food pantry, provides emergency shelter for the homeless, hosts a weekly community outreach luncheon (rain or shine), and much more! Lebanon has faithfully supported Mo Hope for years and regularly provides the following items to help Mo Hope serve others. Our members are encouraged to drop these items off each Sunday in the donation bins in the church narthex.
- Non-perishable foods
- Microwaveable foods
- Farm fresh fruits and vegetables
- Hygiene products
- Clothing and footwear (NEW)

Liberation Veteran Services (LVS)
LVS provides a safe haven exclusively for veterans in crisis. They provide care, resources, and stability to help them rebuild their lives. Lebanon visits the second Sunday of every other month to provide warm meals, conversation, and prayer! There are multiple ways to get involved:
- Signup and serve the meals with us on location
- Provide food for the meal – simply drop off in church kitchen on day of the meal
- Donate to our missions fund to help with the cost of food
Hanover Safe Place
Hanover Safe Place provides services to those affected by domestic violence and amplifies community awareness to gather support and resources. They also partner with ACES which is a beautiful example of helping others in the community! You can help by donating the following:
- Donate first aid products
- Donate diapers
- Paper plates, plastic utensils
- Paper bags
- Cleaning supplies
Lebanon highlights Hanover Safe Place every October during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, however, we keep them in prayer year-round. For more information, and to stay up to date, follow this link to see their most needed items.

God expects Jesus’ followers to care for others, especially the “least of these.”
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
Matthew 25:40
Lebanon Methodist mission team members organize and equip the church’s efforts in supporting mission outreach locally, regionally, and globally. Its purpose is to be the guiding force of the church’s role as a mission-oriented congregation. We coordinate mission efforts, educate and inform the congregation regarding missions, research and recommend mission opportunities, and oversee mission projects, teams, and programs.
